Stephen Parkinson, CPO, LPO

Steven ParkinsonStephen came to the world of O&P almost by accident. In 2008, Stephen was in his sophomore year at Texas Tech University when his path was altered. His brother, who is an Occupational Therapist in Houston, gathered information on the O&P field from a local Orthotist. Intrigued by the profession, Stephen began volunteering for a local O&P facility.

Stephen completed his prerequisites at Texas Tech before moving to Dallas to enter the UT Southwestern O&P program. After completing the program in 2011, Stephen completed his Orthotics and Prosthetics residencies at Baker following graduation.

Stephen enjoys the challenge of working with elevated vacuum prosthetic sockets in addition to learning about emerging technologies related to upper extremity prosthetics. He looks forward to a long and exciting career as new advancements are made.

Scott Clark, LOPA

Scott ClarkScott Clark’s introduction to O&P was a bit less direct and much more personal.  Before entering the world of O&P, Scott practiced as an electrician for 12 years.  Watching his wife receive the proper prosthetic care from Baker O&P after struggling with other facilities, Scott knew he wanted to make a career change.

As he continued to watch her excel, Scott started working part time at Baker.  He felt that more people that care needed to be in the field and evenutally decided to be one of those people.  After deciding to make the career change, Scott completed his prerequisites and became an O&P licensed assisant in 2013.
